ABOUT NOA
It all began in 2003, when the first N.O.A. collection was designed. The rooted tradition of fine Horological workmanship of the Ruefli family, together with the experience and professionalism of the team assembled by Nicola Andreatta brought to life the world of N.O.A.
N.O.A. is a combination of Italian style and Swiss watchmaking expertise. The passion for innovation pushed N.O.A. to shape their ideas and to introduce them to the world of Fine Luxury Watchmaking.
The pursuit for making beautiful objects that can accurately serve their function will constantly be the powerful creative behind every new N.O.A. creation.
CONCEPT
The designers that influenced the N.O.A. vision when the information flow was limited by physical boundaries were just a few.
Now that N.A.O. has a continuous cross reference with the world that surrounds them, it has become easier for them to share their visions and ideas.
The necessity of innovating shapes while making things more "user friendly" will strongly be the "Leit Motiv" of every N.O.A. creation.
THE BRAND
N.O.A. stands for N.one O.f the A.bove.
It is short, easily readable in every language and it contains the root of the greek "nhos", New. The initials of Nicola are also part of the logo. Nicola O Andreatta, where the "O" can be interpreted as a stylised watch head.
