EXTERIOR CLOCK WORK

Extensive experience in repair and restoration of mechanical and electronic clocks has allowed us to work on prestigious projects throughout the country. There are many beautiful outdoor clocks which have fallen into disrepair. It can be a daunting proposition to keep these older clocks running. We can restore any clock to its original condition and use the latest techniques to bring them to reliable running order.

We are happy to carry out annual servicing contracts to clocks either manufactured or overhauled by ourselves. An annual service would be carried out by one of our fully trained horologists who would visit the site to clean and lubricate the clock as necessary using special lubricants. Any remedial work would be carried out during the visit. A full report is forwarded after each annual service confirming current status and detailing any future work.

In February 2011 we were delighted to be chosen by Norwich City Council to undertake the necessary repairs to the iconic City Hall clock. Work to the historic landmark clock involved removing the hands, dating back to 1938, and completely stripping and rebuilding the internal mechanism.
